DIFFERENT Message Series

If you have been around church long enough you probably have heard someone say, “We are called to be different from the world,” or “If we don’t tell people about Christ, how will they ever know we are different?” That can be a big concept to grasp. Sure, we are supposed to be different, but what does being different mean? What does it look like? And if we are supposed to be different, how do we live in the world? Do we have limitations and standards, or are we given free reign?

Our next three-week talk series @ Elevate Student Ministries will help us understand what it means to be different as a believer in Christ. Week one, we’ll unpack why we are different because of Christ. Week two, we’ll help each other understand what it means to be salt and light, and help identify how you can walk the fine line between living in the world and not being of the world. We three, we’ll challenge students to examine their lives to ensure that their words and actions are equal – in other words, consistency and integrity.

This is what it will look like:
• Week 1: Different from the World (Colossians 2:20-23)
• Week 2: More than Words (Matthew 5:13-16)
• Week 3: Equal Words, Equal Action (Matthew 7:21-23)

Hope you can come and join us!
