This week, people started asking me, “Who is that singing/playing that last song in Zion’s ‘first day video’ [shared here on my personal site] ?”  That’s when I realized that I wanted more people to experience Gungor.  Here’s a beautiful acoustic version of their title song, “Beautiful Things”…

Lastly, Gungor plays “The Earth is Yours” live and in the forest. Love it!

Dare I say Gungor’s “Beautiful Things” might be my favorite album of the moment? I think it might be! Go check ‘em out on their [official web site] and snag yourself some awesome music now!

The services are open to the public: Wednesday, May 12th @ 7:00 PM and Thursday, May 13th @ 7:00 PM.  Be there!

It seems fitting that I post this video on Palm Sunday, the day that celebrates and remembers Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey while people praised him and sang in the streets.  While in Haiti, we experienced a day of people dancing, singing, parading, and praising Jesus in the streets of Port-au-Prince.  Here’s a short video to give you a small glimpse into what that was like…

As flashy and entertaining as Adam was, I just wasn’t a fan of his vocal stylings. Can you say, “eighties hair band”?  ;)

I also think it’s pretty stinkin’ cool that Kris is a believer — that he has led worship at his home church and has a heart for missions and outreach. The third place guy, Danny Gokey, also happened to be a worship leader. How cool is that?

In addition, I think it’s pretty stinkin’ cool that Kris didn’t make a big deal about his personal faith by waving a “Christian flag” over his head during the season. He just lived his life and let the pieces fall where they may; I believe that spoke more loudly than words ever could have.  And now, Kris has a platform that could potentially reach thousands.

Let’s keep Kris and his wife lifted up. I’m sure he could use our prayers now more than ever…
