Next week we’ll be starting a new student message series called “LIFE ON PURPOSE: 5 Reasons to Live Life Loud”. We’ll be talking about:
• Reaching Out to Your Friends (Genesis 1:27),
• Making Significant Connections (Genesis 2:18),
• Growing in Your Faith (Genesis 2:7),
• Serving in Ministry (Genesis 1:28-30), and
• Honoring God in All That You Do (Genesis 2:2-3).
Such an awesome way to start out the new school year; it’s gonna be grand!

The band I’m most excited about coming to Hill’s Alive this summer? SKILLET! I’ve been a fan since their debut on Ardent Records in 1996.
Anybody remember this album? Good stuff for it’s day!
They’ve got a new album releasing in a couple months titled, “Awake”. Hope we get to hear some new tunes while they’re here in Rapid!

I’ve been a fan of The Katinas ever since they were the “Katina Boyz” back in the day. I have a renewed appreciation for their music and ministry heart after seeing them lead worship at the Harvest Crusade this weekend. So good!
Anyhow, I wanted to share this fun video blog the band posted on their site as a kind of review of their weekend here in South Dakota. They got some great footage of Mac Powell, Third Day’s lead singer, trying hard to be like Crystal Lewis…
