9th Annual Elevation Talent Show

This year Deanna and I couldn’t be at the Elevation Talent Show.  Zion made his debut appearance that afternoon and “stole the show” — and our hearts.  Regardless, the SHOW MUST GO ON and we had a tremendous group of volunteers give a strong showing at this year’s event:

  • Master of ceremonies – Steve Hill
  • Sound techs – Thyran Thiry and Monte Madison
  • Media – Michael Grizzaffi
  • Videographer – Ken Verheecke
  • Concessions - Leonne Seevers and Cheryl Goldammer

Thanks so much to all of the talent, volunteers, and the voters who came out to support.  Together, you helped us raise just over $1,000 to support the student ministries of Destiny!

Don’t miss the 2010 Fire Conference with Chad Taylor of Consuming Fire Ministries…

Elevate Student Ministries will be selling cold drinks and candy bars all weekend long.  Students interested in getting financial help towards their camp balances (due next Sunday, the 13th) can contact Pastor Deanna for a time-slot to serve.  Look for the green table in the foyer just outside the childrens’ ministry room…
