Amazing Bicycle Duo

// August 20th, 2009 // Just for Fun

Give me a couple weeks and I could throw an act like this together. No problem! ;)

So incredible! I wonder if these ladies won the competition?

    This is outstanding…this is more then that, or any other superlative…this…this is, one of THE highest expressions of all our common human-kind, of the highest beauty, grace, design, supreme, dilligent practice, planning, execution, skill, grace, the feminine, but all human form…this is truly a wonderful expression of what makes us above all other creatures upon creation. My great thanks to these two aspiring students of gymnastic, ballet, and many other disciplines combined and executed so flawlessly, inspiringly, and beautifully, which will encourage and likewise inspire all mankind to higher pursuits, peace, wisdom, and mental and physical fitness, who are so privileged to observe and be amazed by it.

    They should create a new Olympic sport after them and this category. I was captivated by how an invisible tether kept the two synchronized and coordinated in every move, the bicycles became secondary, almost superfluous to those two graceful and beautiful people and their movements. The design and execution of their elaborate choreographed maneuvers and graceful routine as stated are a testament to the best mankind has to offer, and has been designed with. An Olive Branch to truly civilized civilization, now I want to leave paultry USA and move to their country! Well done!

      Sorry – am I missing a gene or something that everyone else has? I can see absolutely no point in this activity whatsoever. Why spend so much time and energy aquiring a skill that is of no benefit to anyone. Who benefits from this? I certainly dont, and the world as a whole is no better for it either. As far as I can see the only people who are the least bit likely to get any kind of pleasure from this pointless activity is the two girls actually doing it. So why are they showing it to us? What is my reaction supposed to be? " It is really great for me to watch you two people enjoying yourselves"? So whats next – I watch somebody having a good laugh watrching TV, enjoying a good meal, having fun spending their money???

      There are teachers, doctors, nurses, engineers, scientists, charity worksers and many others who daily bring more benefit and joy to others and usually do it without praise or admiration. These are the "best mankind has to offer". Not these two self indulgent timewasters.

    Don't know how you can say that is like riding a unicycle, you try both of them and you'll notice that you have to balance off a bit of extra weight and manoeuvre handlebars too.

  22. Dan Baerg says:

    that is completely ridiculous. I really hope they won the competition. Let's put this in perspective for a moment. If YOU did that with what looks to be your best friend in the world (they'd better be if you trust them that much) I think you'd be pretty upset if you didn't receive an ounce public recognition for achieving something like that. Good job ladies, here's to your success!

  23. Lee Stuurmans says:

    They're unicycles with an extra wheel.
    Big whoop.
